Let’s compare the value of your practice to the value of owning your own home, and then discuss the importance of realizing the potential of both. When you realize equity in your home, it’s nice to know that you don’t have to sell it until you are ready. This equity is part of your net worth calculation. It gives you peace of mind. With your own business, after having built it and prospered from it, you may then decide to liquidate it when you retire, for example. It is possible you could sell your business/practice relatively quickly, turning your hard work into cash, resulting in a nice comfort zone for you and your family.
Being in control of your business is having the freedom to construct your business as you see fit, to set your own hours, and to not feel as though you are being held captive in a culture in which you do not fit. Again, we believe—as many advisors do—that one of the most important (quite possibly THE most important) benefit to you is building up equity in your own business. It is owned by you, and you want the freedom to pass it on to family members through succession planning, sell it to partners or team members, interested third-party wealth managers, or to a larger financial institution.

The Richard Brothers ownership package includes our Value Creation Bonus Plan that allows advisors/partners to participate in its anticipated future growth. To give you a brief overview of our Plan— Grants of Units may be available to advisors/partners which are based on the years of service to the firm, gross production, recruitment of additional candidates hired by us, and the firm’s financial performance. More details are available through a confidential interview.
We offer one of the finest payout structures in the independent space. The most accurate way to determine the bottom line for your practice is for us to conduct a thorough, personalized analysis of your core business. Richard Brothers is ideally suited for advisors overseeing or managing more than 50 million AUM and producing more than 400k in gross commissions. We elevate our advisors to a 90% payout. We also offer the following:
- Flat fees for support services
- Pay is accurate and on time
- Value offered to keep payouts down; support level up
- Better potential for building net worth
We work with some of the top financial institutions in the country to provide growth capital for expansion and lines of credit for cash flow needs.
We are a registered insurance agency and can advise on a variety of personal or business policies, including life, disability, and health and long-term care. If any of your clients have special insurance needs, we have in place the necessary relationships with insurance companies that can customize their coverage needs. In addition, we provide access to health benefit plans for you and your employees to choose from. We also offer business coverage through a number of strategic partnerships with insurance providers.
