Since 1981, Good Shepherd Food Bank has led the fight against hunger in Maine. As the state’s largest hunger-relief organization, it partners with over 600 local agencies—food pantries, schools, health centers, and more—to distribute nutritious, culturally relevant food statewide.
Right now, 1 in 7 Mainers—and 1 in 5 children—face food insecurity. Hunger touches every community, impacting students, working families, and older adults. With federal food program cuts and rising living costs, the need has never been greater.
But together, we can change that.
Your support of our charity golf tournament helps the Food Bank provide nearly 40 million meals each year—80% supporting healthy lifestyles. It also funds local grants that expand equitable, dignified food access across Maine.
$1 = 2 Meals
$75 = 107 lbs. of Local Produce
$125 = A Year of Take-Home Food for a Child’s Family
$550 = A Year of Meals for One Neighbor
Your gift delivers more than food—it brings hope and stability. Thank you for making a difference. Together, let’s build a stronger, hunger-free Maine—one meal, one round, one act of kindness at a time.
