Richard Brothers Financial Advisors (RBFA) is hosting its ninth charity golf tournament this summer to support a local charity.
This year, we are pleased to announce that we will support The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. The Animal Refuge nurtures the connection between people and pets to advance animal welfare and improve the quality of life in our community.
We are excited to invite our valued clients and community members to our annual charity golf tournament this August!
We aim to raise $10,000 for The Animal Refuge while enjoying a memorable day of fun, golf, and engaging conversations. We look forward to swinging for a cause and creating lasting memories together.
The Animal Refuge provides temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned, confiscated, and relinquished animals and places as many pets as possible into responsible and caring homes. It creates awareness and support for the humane treatment of all animals, strives to end animal overpopulation through education and promoting spaying and neutering, and makes end-of-life decisions based on safety and animal welfare considerations.

The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland is a life-saving organization committed to preserving life. This means they don’t euthanize due to space constraints or based on a time limit for adoptable animals, and they don’t based on color, breed, or age. The Animal Refuge League is a high-adoption, open-admission facility. There is no time limit for an animal to stay in its care. Their team members do everything they can to ensure each animal has the opportunity for a new beginning and provide them with the care, treatment, and time they require before they find their new family.
